NETWORKING IN VIENNA

OF BUSY BROTHERS, SECRET LODGES AND ILLUSTRIOUS SALONS - A TOUR THROUGH THE HISTORY OF NETWORKING AND BUSINESS IN VIENNA

What would Vienna be today without successful networks that have given decisive impulses to the city's development with their ideas, strength and cohesion? We find out on our entertaining walk through the history of networking. What was it actually about the brotherhoods and guilds that we encounter everywhere in Vienna? Even more mysterious was only the network of the Freemasons. Nevertheless, we know a few surprising members in Vienna!
Networking was also essential for the survival of famous musicians like Mozart and Haydn, as we discover at the New Market Square. Our tour continues to innovative product exhibitions in the Hofburg castle and to Maria-Theresia. Or was the networking genius actually her husband? And then there were the famous salons! Art, business and politics met there in illustrious surroundings!
In earlier times, however, when the city guard built up networks, it was sometimes criminal. We end our tour with Beethoven, probably the first truly self-employed musician in Vienna. What made him successful in his business in the end?

Tour duration: 1.5 to 2 hours
